   We finally listened to the story! You did a great job of describing this. I well remember being up by the house watching this go on and also Tom retelling what he was thinking. I was going to add something–your dad had these “too small to breed” bull calves out with his heifers that spring and after having driven by to school for a couple weeks I mentioned to your dad that he sure was going to calve early next year! I thought he had them there on purpose but evidently from the response he didnt think they would breed yet! His response was of shock and wonderment why I hadnt mentioned it earlier. (I wasnt getting into his business just thought January was early calving)Im not positive but I think this was one of those “bulls”.
