The kind citizens slogged through another week of unseasonably cool and rainy weather, although it warmed up slowly toward the end.

Clyde Arneson went to Sturgis on business Thursday.  On Sunday morning he visited the Lawrence and Doris Burke residence.

The Sam Johnstons attended the Sturgis Regional High School Rodeo over the weekend, where Calder competed.

John and Jean Linn went to Rapid City on Tuesday, John’s birthday, where they had supper at the Bret and Charlotte Wilsey residence.

Kayley, Zach and Logan Brunsch of Rapid City arrived at the Andy Linn residence to spend the weekend on Saturday.

Shirrise and Kassandra Linn went to Rapid City on Wednesday.  Roger Shull of Crieghton was an overnight guest at the Morris Linn residence Wednesday night.  Al Trask and Sam Heikus visited the Morris Linn residence Thursday morning.  Sunday morning, Roger Shull arrived at the Morris Linn residence to accompany Morris to an auction in Belle Fourche.  Roger had supper at the Morris Linn residence.

Jim and Myrna Smith accompanied John and Darlene Wulf of Owanka to the Black Hills Overdrive Cruiser Night in Rapid City Saturday night.  Gary Smith of Rapid City and Andrew Smith of Pierre visited the Jim Smith residence Sunday.

Matt, Maria and Celine Trask and Joe Carter visited the Al Trask residence Tuesday afternoon.  The Al Trask’s went to Rapid City Sunday.

Matt Trask visited the Cary Tines residence and the John Timmons residence Saturday evening.

Joe Carter of Custer arrived at the “Upland Trask” residence Tuesday and stayed until Thursday morning.  The “Upland Trasks” hosted a beef cattle forum at the Elm Springs Hall Wednesday evening.  Pat, Matt and Nick Trask went to Rapid City Thursday for the NAIS listening session.  Tom Bruch of Bear Butte spent the latter half of the week at the “Upland Trask” residence.

Jim and Caroline Wilsey went to Rapid City Thursday to visit Thelma Wilsey, and saw Trudy Simmons of Gordon, NE.  The Wilsey’s left Friday for Hay Springs NE to spend a day with Wes and JoAnne Wilsey.  On Sunday the Wilsey’s attended an auction in Belle Fourche.

Andy and Morris Linn and kids visited the Wilson Ranch Thursday to look at the snowbank in the spring draw.

Kelli Wilson left Thursday for Vermillion to attend the HOBY conference over the weekend.

Melvin and Dorothy Anderson attended the Anderson Family Reunion at Gulches of Fun in Deadwood Friday and Saturday.  On Sunday, Gail Hazeldine, Cindy, Whitney and Hanna Gillette of Forest Lake MN, and Chance Anderson of Box Elder visited.

Ryan Burkinshaw, who resides at the “Upland Trask” residence, celebrated his First Holy Communion at Lakeside Saturday evening, with cake and ice cream afterwards.

There will be a wedding shower for Beth Wilson at the Elm Springs Hall on Saturday the 27th of June, starting at eleven am.

The kind citizens hope it dries up around here.
