The ESN; Farewell to Cheryl
The biggest happening this week was on Wednesday, when the kind citizens joined several hundred other people at the Community Center in Union Center for Cheryl Simons’ funeral, presided over by the Rev. Harold Delbridge. After a reception in Union Center, more than one hundred people attended the burial in Elm Springs, and reception at the Elm Springs Hall. The Morris Linns hosted friends and family throughout the week.
Clyde, Chase and Connie Arneson joined the Ryan Elsheres at the Lonnie Arneson residence for supper Wednesday night.
Lawrence and Doris Burke went to Rapid City Tuesday to keep appointments. They attended the Wall Celebration Parade on Saturday morning in Wall, and Dean Allen of Belle Fourche visited the Lawrence Burke residence Sunday morning.
Ryan, Chrissy and Rylan Elshere left Carter and Camry at the Lonnie Arneson residence and traveled to Spooner, WI for a rodeo Thursday. Ryan and Carter went to a rodeo in Wolf Point, MT Saturday.
Jen and Maddi Mgee of Glen Rock WY visited the Morris Linn residence for a few days last week.
Cary and Pam Tines entertained Clyde, Connie and Chase Arneson, the Ryan Elsheres and Matt Trask Wednesday afternoon. Lainee Mae spent the weekend at the Cary Tines residence.
Little Pat Trask visited the “Upland Trask” residence Tuesday while Al and Bridget celebrated their second anniversary. Al and Bridget visited the “Upland Trask” residence Tuesday evening.
Pat, Matt and Maria Trask attended the Maude Soderquist funeral in Wall on Tuesday. Joe Trask and Ryan Burkinshaw attended the Wall Celebration Friday night, and Joe, Austin, Ryan, Nick and Julie attended the Wall Celebration Saturday night. Several of the “Upland Trasks” visited the John Wulf residence for breakfast Sunday morning, while the rest of them went to Rapid City in the afternoon, where they had supper with Steph Trask, Alicia and Jacinta Konechne, and Deacon George Gladfeldter of Rapid City.
Matt Trask visited the Bonnie Timmons residence near Marcus Saturday night to play guitar.
The Kenny Wilsons attended the Wall Celebration Saturday.
And the Philip Wilsons entertained Mary Kay’s sister and family, Allister, Nancy and Rachel Mathison of Missasauga, Ontario, Canada and Darrell and Norma Harer of Hoven Tuesday through Thursday.
The kind citizens hope that dang wind doesn’t blow anymore!
