The kind citizens are positively swaggering through all the mud in their community after receiving another three inches of rain over the weekend. Life is good.

Several of the kind citizens attended the Wall Homecoming football game Friday night, in which a fired up White River team handed Wall a soggy 24-20 loss.

And several of the kind citizens attended the Prospector Bowl in Lead Saturday, mostly to watch Philip get trounced by Harding County.

And some of the kind citizens attended the Golden West annual meeting in Wall on Saturday.

Baxter and Dunny Anders were Saturday night visitors at the Matt Trask residence. Al and Bridget Trask were Sunday supper guests at the Rod Anders residence.

A joint birthday party was held at the “Upland Trask” residence on Saturday night, with Ray Olsen, Clay Tines and Al and Bridget Trask in attendance. After his party, Nick visited the Paul Bruch residence near Bear Butte. Pat and RoseMary attended an SDSU fundraiser in Keystone Saturday. Ben Linn began guitar instruction Monday afternoon, at the Matt Trask residence. It should be noted that Matt is also instructing Autumn Deering, on Tuesday evenings at the Deering residence. And Matt visited the John and Darlene Wulf residence on Sunday for “coffee,” which happened to include four brownies, two blueberry muffins, several helpings of apple cake with chocolate whipped cream, and a plate of BLT sandwiches. No, Matt hasn’t lost his touch.

Jim and Caroline Wilsey went to Hot Springs on business Friday. Kelly and Ben Wilsey of Tea were Saturday night guests at the Wilsey residence.

Philip and Mary Kay Wilson returned Tuesday from the South Dakota Association of Conservation Districts annual meeting in Pierre. Pam Wilson came home from Brookings for the Wall Homecoming weekend, and on Sunday, after visiting the John Wulfs and the Jim Smiths, Philip and Mary Kay helped ready Pam’s car for the trip back.
