New Feature
This was inspired by my online colleague Jacqui (www.jacquirobbins.blogspot.com) who has begun a summer reading project for her fans and whoever wants to participate. Yesterday, she posted a summary of the book East of Eden, which incidentally has several characters with my last name.
I had thought about doing this feature, but I kept forgetting to do it or something. Now I’m going to do it. Hubba’s House, in association with Trask Entertainment, presents “Hubba at the Movies.”
Since I don’t watch a lot of movies, these will be reviews of mostly older movies. Also, when I was formed, God saw fit to give me one thumb that looks like a toe and is significantly shorter than the other, so the highest rating I can physically give is “One and a half thumbs up.”
Without further ado, “Hubba at the Movies.”
Once Upon a Time in the West-
Director- the incredibly tortured Sergio Leone
Starring- Henry (or Peter?) Fonda, Charles Bronson, Smoking Hot Babe
Everybody gets shot; Charles Bronson runs around playing a haunting little ditty on his harmonica; Smoking Hot Babe builds a railroad station.
Rating- One and a half thumbs up!

Love the rating system — even the movies that get your highest rating get a dose of humility, too. >:- )
I was looking for a Steinbeck novel for Jacqui’s challenge, and picked East of Eden because of the Trask name — I was just getting to know you.

The ratings system made me laugh aloud. I am looking forward to more reviews.
And I wondered if you were related to the East of Eden Trasks…

I agree Jinglebob. Jim even read at the parade, with his family sitting next to him - I guess we must not be that interesting.
